Organizers are expecting teams from at least 20 countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Russia, and Mexico. The players will compete in three categories: individual, pairs and teams. Lucas Guittard, president of the International Domino Federation, said that domino is gaining more acceptance as a sport. “There are some countries that already have it legally as a sport, such as Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Russia.
